Launch of Chat Payment Settlement System by Maxconnect

Maxconnect Co, Ltd. a settlement company and payment gateway provider based in Tokyo, Japan is about to release their new platform which is a chat based payment system. The Chat payment settlement system allows the merchants to embed a chat box onto their websites through which they can talk to the customers in real time. The Chat Box is really simple to add to any HTML website, since all the merchants have to do is to add a script into their HTML source code. Customers can then talk to the seller directly through the chat box in real time and can also make payments for a product directly from the chat box itself.

The system is focused towards easing the interaction between the seller and the customer. The system allows the customers to ask the seller regarding any product and the seller can thus guide them to make the purchase decision. The system is backed by Maxconnect’s Payment Gateway which allows the customers to make the payments directly from the chat box itself. This removes the need for the merchants to provide the customers with a separate payment URL, as all they have to do is to add the amount to be paid by the customer in the amount bar on the chat screen and press the send link button. Once the merchant has done this, a button will appear on the customers chat screen which will then take them to the Maxconnect’s payment gateway to complete the transition. The system includes a merchant facing application called merchant portal where the merchant can keep track of all the customers and can chat with anyone of them in real time. The Portal also enables the merchants to keep a track of all the transitions and history of the chat with every customer they have connected to in the past.

The merchants also have the ability to set their state to offline which automatically notifies the customers that the merchant is offline and will ask them to try again later. This feature is helpful for merchant stores to manage the chat during off work hours or holidays in general.
