Fusion Art Announces the Winners of the 6th Annual Animal Kingdom Art Exhibition

Palm Springs, CA, USA – September 13, 2021 – Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 6th Annual Animal Kingdom International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in three categories: Traditional Art, Digital Art & Photography and 3-Dimensional Art.

For this exhibition, both 2D and 3D artists were encouraged to share their best art and photography depicting animals, both domestic and wild. All artists, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their work in any media.

The 6th Annual Animal Kingdom Best in Show winners are Durwood Coffey for his acylic, “Showdown on Main Street”, Sara Victoria Sandberg for her digital photo artistry, “Transience” and Xin Fang for his bronze, “Shore”. Durwood, Sara and Xin are Fusion Art’s Featured Artists for the month of September 2021 and, as the Best in Show winners, all three artists are invited to participate in Fusion Art’s Annual Group Show in Palm Springs, California in 2022.

Other award winners include Second Place winners, Keri Fisher, Debby Thomas and Douglas Aja. Third Place awards were given to Jianhe Zhong, Barbara Mierau-Klein and Dave LaMure Jr. Fourth Place awards were given to Kathy Christian, Richard Condlyffe and Peter Zaytsev. Fifth Place awards were given to Kathy M Paulus, Paul M. Murray and Suzie Sullivan.

Rounding out the awards for the exhibition are twelve Honorable Mention winners. Honorable Mention awards in the Traditional Art category were given to Alice Joy Murphy, Nanda Hoep, Celeste Potgieter, Gretchen Hill Woodman, Shaowei Feng and Soumithri Jagalur.

Honorable Mention awards in the Photography & Digital category were given to Ricardo Jose Gonzalez-Rothi, Marcello Galleano, Garret Demarest, Barbara Klimczak, Gareth Jones and Emilda Jaccard.

Honorable Mention awards in the 3-Dimensional category were given to Oleg Kedria, Rikki Morley Saunders and John Wietfeldt.

The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.

The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Russia, France, Belarus, China, Czech Republic, Sweden, Philippines, Croatia and the Netherlands. Overall, the gallery judged 424 entries and accepted 162 artworks into the exhibition, which will be featured on the website for the month of September.

Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.

Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions.
