The future of project management to be discussed in a global event in Riyadh

Under the auspices of the Public Investment Fund, the Project Management Institute (PMI) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will organize the first session of the Global Project Management Forum (GPMF), from 26 to 27 June, at the Fairmont Hotel, Riyadh, under the slogan “The Future of Project Management: Between Digitalization and Adaptation to the Change”.

Such two-day global event will bring together keynote speakers, project managers, decision makers, project management professionals and thought leaders from across the region, to discuss the future of the project management sector and its impact on the future of the world. The participants are going to discuss the future attitudes of project management, with a focus on a number of key topics, such as infrastructure, technology and innovation, future cities and community development.

GPMF seeks to reveal the possibilities of implementing smart, sustainable and innovative practices in project management to ensure the best results. It highlights the Kingdom’s pioneering role in leading the development process in the region by adopting the highest international standards in implementing many mega projects that have successfully captured the world’s attention.

The launch of this global forum is a step towards enhancing the project management profession by bringing together experts and thought leaders, from around the world, to participate as speakers in the forum to discuss many topics and issues related to project management, in addition to providing insights and perspectives on how to effectively integrate project management into various business.

Through the latest methods, the Global Forum aims to revitalize the enormous potential of the Saudi society, advance the Kingdom’s booming economy, and achieve the ambitious goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
